This notice explains how Nina Buruca-Nation handles personal information in connection with burucanation.com, this portfolio, and its inquiry forms. For privacy questions or requests, email burucan@gmail.com.

Information you provide

When you contact me, I receive the information you choose to share. The portfolio contact form asks for your first and last name, email address, areas of interest, and message. Company name and phone number are optional. I may also keep our correspondence and information needed to discuss a project, photography session, collaboration, or career opportunity. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the form.

How I use your information

I use inquiry details to respond to you, understand your request, discuss relevant services or opportunities, and manage related follow-up. Information is also used as needed to maintain the website, prevent abuse, keep appropriate business records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Submitting an inquiry does not automatically enroll you in a newsletter or promotional mailing list.

Contact forms and service providers

When you use my HubSpot contact form, HubSpot processes the submitted information and stores it in my contact management account. Form submissions may generate an email notification to me. Hosting, email, and security providers also process information as needed to deliver their services. Information may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, abuse, or legal claims.

These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Their own privacy notices describe their practices. See HubSpot’s Privacy Policy.

Technical information, cookies, and external resources

Website and form providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and access times to deliver and protect their services. Some portfolio pages load Google Fonts, which sends a request from your browser to Google.

The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help reduce spam. reCAPTCHA evaluates technical and interaction information and sets a cookie for its risk analysis. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that service. HubSpot forms may also use cookies or similar technologies depending on the form and your browser settings.

You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking certain cookies or scripts may prevent a form from working; you can contact me by email instead. External sites linked from this portfolio have their own privacy practices.

Consent and your choices

The contact form records the consent choices you make. Its optional email checkbox concerns your inquiry and related follow-up. You can ask me to stop that follow-up or withdraw consent by emailing me. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing that occurred before it.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing depends on the purpose: your consent, steps you request before entering a service agreement, performance of an agreement, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, subject to your rights.

How long information is kept

Inquiry information is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and relevant follow-up. Retention depends on whether an inquiry leads to an ongoing relationship, whether records are needed for an agreement or dispute, and applicable legal or accounting requirements. You can ask for deletion of information that is no longer needed.

Your privacy requests

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to certain processing, and complain to a relevant privacy authority. Email burucan@gmail.com to make a request. I may need to verify your identity before acting. Some information may need to be retained for legal or other permitted reasons.

Security and children

No website, email system, or storage service can guarantee complete security. Please use the contact form only for ordinary inquiries. This portfolio and its inquiry form are intended for adults, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact me so it can be reviewed and removed as appropriate.

Changes to this notice

I may update this notice when the website or my information practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
